Microsoft Certification Ebook

I cleared 70-528 today. Now I can have my vocation. It is really an exam full of twists and turns. I’ll talk about the process of the exam first.

I began my preparation for this exam one month before. But at that time, it was just something non-essential and I knew little about it. Training Kit of 70-536 was lying on the desk all the time, with a teacup on it. I read it if I had spare time. By the deadline that I fixed for my preparation, I had read that book twice, Intensive Reading plus Extensive Reading. Just at that time, problem occurred. Some items, such as Evidence, which were hardly used, were easy to be forgotten. Since I didn’t know anything about something called “bible” at that time, I had to recite those unfamiliar points repeatedly, check them at local msdn, and add them to the collection folder. The collection was full, which made me rather satisfactory.

Three days before the exam, everyone was talking about bibles online. I was curious and found one on Microsoft at an English website, as big as 200+M, including almost all the exams. I spent half a day on researching how to use it, what is a Virtual Exam and what is a Practice Exam. Then, two days were spent on reading the 70-536 part of this bible. This bible really helped me a lot on 70-536. Although I had read relevant books well before the exam, there was still doubt if I could clear all the questions. I scored 9xx finally. Thanks to the bible. But the most important thing for me is that after the intensive reading on 70-536 Training Kit, I improved a lot.

70-528 was rather a difficult journey. I said “Thanks to the bible” above, but this time, I should say “bible go to hell”. After 70-536, the idea that I could pass the next exam just by bible often occurred to me. So, I read the bible directly and searched for some unfamiliar ones at msdn, such as the section of Mobile Development. This decision brought on terrible result. I took the exam today. There were only one or two questions that occurred in the bible. All the rest were new ones that I had never seen. I was so regret that I didn’t read the books. If I had read the books before, this situation would never happen. In the end, I passed the exam with a score of 8xx all by my developing experience.

The above experience is a reminder for all of you who are going to take the exams. In fact, after cleared my exams, I still think that MCTS certification make no sense in the current education situation. But it makes difference if you pass it rely on your study rather than bible. I also improved a lot this time, for I not only enhanced my capability, but also acknowledged my own problems.
