If you pass the above seven exams, you can get those certifications: MCP MCSE2003 MCSA2003.

If you want to get MCDBA certification (based on SQL Server 2000), you need take one more exam: 070-229.

If you want to update MCSE 2000 to MCSE 2003 certification, you need take two more exams: 070-292 and 070-296.

The first combination: 228, 270, 290, 291, 293, 294, 298

It is the most common combination. It prepares for MCDBA to choose 228(see the second combination).

The second combination: 228, 229, 270, 290, 291, 293, 294, 298

There are eight exams in total and four certifications:

The third combination: 270(210 is also OK), 284, 285, 290, 291, 293, 294, 298(297 is also OK)

The fourth combination: 227(350 is also OK), 270, 290, 291, 293, 294, 298, 299(350 is also OK)

Note: It is impossible to compare MCSE security with CIW，CCSP，CISSP. They all have their advantages and disadvantages. It is hard to say which one is better and which one is worse. It is up to you to choose.
